🌬️ Optimized Air Quality Particle/Dust Detector/Counter - PerfectPrime AQ9600, PM 0.3/2.5/10 Μm Review

Works great for me I haven't had any problems with this unit. He traveled with me to Mexico and did a great job for me there and even when we have a bad AQI here in PNW.

I used this to check the air quality in my hood. I read the manual to see how to switch it to particles/litre and then did a baseline reading in a room of 30,000 0.3 µm/l, I took a reading in the fume hood and kept on running ' button to watch the smoke change from 30K to 0 particles per litre. Works perfectly.

Accurately detects dust and particulate matter from smoke, cigarettes, pollen and fire. The supplied charger is questionable, but it works and the interface takes some getting used to but is usable. The inside of this device is a bit messed up and I found some solder residue inside which I cleaned up.

It's hard to say how accurate the absolute measurements are, but they seem to be compared from room to room, area to area. This seems to be one of the best options when determining the dustiest areas of a building, or before and after installing an air filtration system.

We have a Class 10,000 clean room. The device works well outside the clean room where I measure 25,000 particles/L for 0.3 µm particles. But as soon as the particle concentration in the clean room falls below 7000, the instrument suddenly shows zero for all particle sizes. I expected the reading to be around 1000/L for 0.3 µm particles.

We have no problem with the functionality of the device, however the device does not come with any certification or supporting documents, so we cannot use it in official documents of our manufacturing process. We tried several times to contact the company but got no answer. Every device manufactured in the USA is accompanied by a document confirming its calibration, so it is not possible to determine whether the values displayed on this device are correct. The device worked the first few times I tried it. and never again. Now all readings are zero. The sampling fan runs 38 of the 50 seconds of the sampling interval; then stop. All readings show zero. The history shows 11 runs, the first 8 or so before I received the device, all numbers ranging from 35 to 50. Upon receipt the numbers were low, 6 to 8 for two readings, now zeros. It detects 0.3 µm PM and the price is amazing! I love it when I turn it on for the first time. Robust and well-made outer housing. Clear LCD color display that is easy to read even in the dark. It simultaneously detects particles of 0.3 µm, 2.5 µm and 10 µm. Choose from different sample rates and test modes, etc. There's also temperature, humidity, and data storage. There are two units of measurement - mcg / m3 and piece / l. The smallest particle that can be accurately counted is down to 0.3…

Due to the HT/AQ designations on this unit there was too much confusion, almost sent it back - Instructions for HT was sent after the return started, the seller sent an email AQ pdf which inspired me to take the product seriously. However, I'm not exactly sure about the absolute numbers compared to the $2,000 counter, but it gives a good indication of the relative number of particles in a 50 second sample.
