Not 100 feet! on audio cables

Good quality for the price but NOT 100 feet! I had to order another spool to complete my project which was rated an 85 with play.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some small things

Not even 50 cable feel as described

I just measured and didn't get 2ft of cable. Not a huge loss but that was the last time I bought from someone who usually lies about their product.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Compatibility

Excellent wire for cables and connections

The difference in sound quality after changing from 16AWG aluminum wire to this solid 12 gauge copper wire is amazing. This wire was a single piece 200 feet long. It is heavy and strong but folds up for easy use. The diameter and high stand perfectly match the media bridge banana clips.

Pros
  • Sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Great cable for the price

Having been a music lover most of my life I have to say I've never noticed a huge difference in sound quality between decent speaker cables. This wire is of good quality and the sheath material is relatively soft and flexible. The copper winding is well even. I made a set of cables for my 2 channel system and they sound great. So I recommend this cable for any system.

  • Stylish and modern design

Renovate home cinema? This is the best speaker wire for the job.

This product is recommended for anyone using 12 gauge speaker wire. We love longevity. The product is probably best suited for wall wiring; However, we have not used this product for this purpose. My only complaint is the limited choice of lengths as I underestimated the length required and had to buy more.

  • Free for educational use

AMAZING!: Speaker Cable

This speaker cable is amazing! Really thick and yes it's pure copper (checked). I've used this with Mediabridge banana plugs and it's on the limit of getting through the hole but it can be done with a little effort. The sound is noticeably cleaner on a pair of Focal floorstanding speakers. I used some pre made wires which were quite expensive so you would think they would be good but I find this wire superior. It took about an hour to prepare, but it's worth every minute!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Many opinions on the right speaker cable

Is pure copper better than alloy? Need more thin strands to get the high frequencies right? Does a better wire improve the sound of your speakers? I do not know. You probably won't know either. With the right instruments and an anechoic chamber, you could probably measure the difference. I bought this to make sure I had enough room for the upgraded surround speakers (Polk) that I bought. I know the meter helps with the clean power aspects and the strand count helps at higher frequencies as they

  • Not as thick as other cables

Ideal acoustic wire made of oxygen-free copper.

MaxBrite 12AWG oxygen-free copper speaker wire is ideal. Just as good as the more expensive "high" names. As long as you use PURE Oxygen Free Copper you will be satisfied. Don't let the marketing of brands like Monster Cable, Blue Jeans Cable, etc. take advantage of you. This wire is just as good, but it doesn't look as pretty. You pay double or triple the price for nice cables, but the performance of this cable is EXCELLENT. It is ideal for all speaker-to-amplifier applications. One thing to…

great wire. Ok Isolation.

Just by looking at this material you can tell that the copper is of good quality. Super shiny with lots of thin strands. Also find 12 AWG. Sometimes cheaper wire is smaller than advertised. However, the insulation leaves a lot to be desired. It's pretty thin for a speaker and not very flexible. It also doesn't come off easily at all, meaning you'll have to stick a box cutter or other narrow-bladed tool between the channels and risk cutting it in unintended places. It would be fine behind an…
