This product gets 5 stars but the packaging is so bad that I can't give more than 3 stars overall. When people spend all their time writing reviews about getting rid of plastic, something is wrong. It definitely falls into the "What were you thinking?" category. I will not repeat all the ways to remove them, just wish you luck.

Adapters work well for the price with my light and infrequent use. After reading the reviews I figured I could easily detach the adapters from the mount. nope! I was able to easily remove three of the four adapters. The plastic broke when removing it. I wonder if the seller will replace the holder? I was very careful and would have preferred to keep them in the packaging/holder they came with.

Revain will ship this in an envelope with other tools. When the package arrived, three adapters were torn from the packaging. After a lot of fiddling, I finally sorted them all. Even after cutting off the plastic section with the Wire Cutters logo, it took extra effort to remove. Socket adapters don't have to be that difficult to remove from the packaging. The adapters themselves are reliable and worth the money.

If someone hasn't read the socket adapter removal review then it doesn't stand out. Maybe someone should take the hint and put the instructions on the label. i have mics I was able to cut out the tabs. Hopefully everyone who buys this set wears safety goggles so the pieces don't fly into their eyes while cutting. And I hope my dogs don't have a problem finding the pieces in front of me.
