Medium Extension snaps in at 85 ft lbs right out of the box. So really useless. Wasted time going to Sears to find a handyman to work—of course. Damned. I would love to find this good inexpensive tool there, I think it's a productivity tool isn't it.
Shown next to the spark plug head. The product has two positions. In the first position, it offers slight angular movement in either direction, which is what I got it for. Pushing it all the way in makes it stiff and looks like a 3 inch extension. I believe the notion of two positions is supported by the spark plug socket but not by other applications.
Pros: Strong, solid connection of ratchet and socket, provides non-slip oscillation Cons: Few degrees of oscillation, not vertical, This may not work , when you need a lot of distraction. I use this to change my oil and it works like a charm. Ideal for situations where you can't hit a bolt or nut directly.
