🔌 Enhanced Performance Adapter: 3/8" Female to 1/2" Male (W38158) Review

I bought it for one time use. It's well built and works well. I keep it in my camper toolbox for exposure to the elements. It never spoiled. Very high quality for every price.

Nothing to say except that it is a 3/8" to 1/4" adapter. Did its job for a reasonable price. The easiest way to remove the tag from the hanger is with a flathead screwdriver. It can be reused later to hang the adapter without fixing, as is the case when it arrives.

Would have been 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that I had to invoke the power of Odin, Zeus and the rest of the pantheon to open it. Must have passed out trying to open it because I don't know how it happened.

I bought a bike rear cassette puller that plugs into a 1/2" socket and I only had a 3/8" wrench. This adapter did the trick and fits right into the 1/2" jacks. Although I don't use it very often, it has held up without any signs of wear.

There may be a trick, but the only way I was able to get the plastic plug out of the adapter was to put the plug in a 1/2 inch wrench and use it channel lock pliers to unscrew it. I think they're worried about shoplifting, but it looks like they can save some money and ship the bare parts online.

Allowed me to use a large 1/2" socket with a 3/8" socket. The connections are good and tight. Little leeway. I think it's good. I thought about removing the star because when I put it on my desktop it doesn't do anything. He just sits there. No bells, whistles, LEDs. Nothing. :)
