Performance Tool W8662 Drill Combo Review

Based on our own experience, this product was a big disappointment. While the bits seemed sturdy enough, they didn't hold up well under heavy use and started to wear down after only a short amount of time. The one positive was the variety of sizes included in the set, but unfortunately that didn't make up for the poor quality. Save your money and invest in a more reliable option.

The tools were as advertised. The only thing I noticed is that the package turned yellow, tell me it lay broke for a long time, but the tools were fine. I will order more from this supplier.

Before opening the box I accidentally noticed that the drill included in this set has a 10.5 punch which indicates this that it is a 10-drill. 5mm. The correct drill bit for a 10 x 1.25 thread is 8.8mm, if I blindly opened this up and drilled holes my project would be screwed (no pun intended). With a hole 1.7mm larger than intended, the winding leaves virtually no engagement with the threads. Basically buying this product is a waste of time and money.
