I only bought this a few months ago and condensation has already formed behind the lens. My boat is lidded on the outside and maybe designed to let moisture in and out, but for the price I was expecting the electronics inside to be watertight.

A few days after installation, condensation appeared in the lamp. I called them about the five year warranty on this unit and Perko was willing to honor the warranty but I would have to send my money back and it would take 8-12 weeks for them to send me a new unit. I don't know how they get away with it. Everything they do is somehow required on a boat - headlights, gas cap, etc - the boat cannot be used without these things, so their warranty program is a bit of a scam. Do I just have to park…
