Using this adhesive, our team found that it did not hold up well under automotive conditions. The product was difficult to apply and did not provide a reliable seal. The only positive was that it was easy to clean up if we needed to start over. Overall, we would not recommend this adhesive for car fillers.

Ultra Gray is a great product but I'm tired of artificially destroying caps on Permatex seals in pipes. I've bought many of these over the years and within a few months the cap always breaks in half just above the threads and then the product dries out and becomes unusable. No way these guys know about it because it happens EVERY time! A shameless way to get your customers to keep buying your products. We're not all stupid, some of us know exactly what you're doing.
