Perri's High-Quality Nylon Safety Halter Review

Putting the halter on my 16.3 inch Georgian Grande was a challenge until I found this one. Not being horse sized or draft horse sized, this oversized fit was perfect for her. I've bought several of these. Great colors too.

The construction and materials of this halter are first class, the leather crown is very elastic and the nylon is bright red. Fits my little 900lb Arabian (with a big head for his body!) Great. I will definitely be choosing Perri's again, I have several other halters from this company and the quality is consistent!

I recently bought a dark blue leash from another seller so I was looking for a suitable halter. my friend is tall Belgian/QHx about 1400 pounds. Definitely doesn't fit the standard size of a horse, but doesn't fit a full haul either. I wanted an oversized tear-off in navy blue. I had to search a bit but found this one. Very satisfied. He looks sharp!

I bought this halter for my horse and it's really good! Very durable leather and fabric. The chin strap was a bit too big, I had to put it on the nearest buckle with a hole. If you put it (the chin strap) on the shortest buckle there is no room for the rest of the material, it just hangs there. This is the only negative review I have. Otherwise it has lasted a long time and is very well made!

This leather fastener was very thin and not as expected. Over $35 for a weaning halter and a broken metal jaw on the third day. This is very poor quality for a baby halter that grows out in a few months, anyway I could break any kid with that. It should not be. I also bought a horse size and now want to return both because it's annoying when we need a tomise and when a full size horse uses this and will surely break.

I need a brightly colored halter to find in the pasture when it comes loose. The first was sent in dark purple, although I ordered neon green. I returned the green and opted for a bright orange as I had never seen that color before. My order clearly states the color I ordered and states they are in stock. This halter is way better than I expected. Nylon is very soft, not stiff like the cheaper option. The cheek closure is very easy to put on and take off, and the detachable leather strap is very comfortable. The pony is sized for a small (SMALL) pony. It would be too big for a big Mini. I have a tiny 1 year old Tennessee Walker, about 12.5 hands and 450-500 lbs.
