🐱 Stay Cozy: Pet Magasin Cat Thermal Bed Self-Heating Pads for Small Pets Review

Bought for a cat. One pad was larger than I expected so I put it on the floor for my old labs. My 11 year old labrador reported it quickly and did it for 2 hours. And I opened the package just over 2 hours ago. I wrote the first half of the review right after the purchase at the end of August 2016. Then I gave 4 stars. I washed it a month ago. Thousands of little black things (must be thermal parts) exploded all over the dryer. Sounds like you should wash your pet bed from time to time.

I bought this for my cat because our house is being destroyed and I have to leave it in the solarium on a very cold day. I can't leave the heater unattended so my sister suggested this electric blanket. He likes it. I bought these for my 18 year old Jezabelle who had just received radioactive iodine therapy for an overactive thyroid. Well my only cat likes the smaller mat (I bought size 1 large, 1 small) and luckily she is small herself (she weighs about 9 pounds). ). I gave my sister's fat maine coon cat (he weighs about 20 pounds) a large mat and she sent me pictures of him using it. It fits perfectly when sitting like a loaf of bread with an inch rug wrapped around it. The mats are designed for cats to sit in the loaf position, but my cat loves to curl up on it's side. Not everything fits like this, but it stays that way

I loved these rugs so much I was about to order a third set but I looked at the 1 star reviews and realized they are not machine washable - the black ones Dots on the back already come off in the washing machine, are difficult to remove and fall on subsequent loads so I will not be buying a 3rd set. These auto heated beds are great because they work and my cats love them. Also, they don't make any noise when cats walk on them. They are soft, smooth and not bulky. I first bought a large bag and a small outdoor cat house bag that we have for stray cats that used to come into my garden. On cold nights and days, kittens snuggle up comfortably in these beds and stay in their homes. One was left over so I put it on my wooden swing and my inner kitty loves it and sits and naps on it all the time.

My 11 year old Jack Russell had a lot of double arthritis especially in his shoulders.
