It took me a second to realize that there is a zipper on the inside to fully pull the strap out, which isn't great when I'm somewhere my cats aren't It's useless unless I leave it open so they can rip the mesh while locked inside 😑 But it doesn't feel fragile when you attach the straps and grab a loaded bag. This carrier is a good size and sturdy. It is exactly as described. Everything is good and what I wanted and needed. The only negative about it is the strong new/manufactured smell which can be a little overpowering. It's been over a month since I bought this product and it still has the new smell. A cat hates him. This carrier is wonderful. Our cat is slowly outgrowing the backpack we originally bought for her and we're moving out of state soon - which meant we needed a carrier that was comfortable for her but not so big that she took up a lot of space took.
