I recently had a puppy and I didn't want to scare him with a brush or worry too much if it would be rough and painful. I've heard of gloves that you can pet your dog in and not be so overwhelmed. The first time I tried them it was out of phase at all. They work great, get rid of excess hair and don't weigh my pup down. So glad I have them!

My dog loves to rub these gloves. They collect a lot of hair, but are difficult to remove. The video suggested the water would wash away the hair, but it didn't work. Our portable little vacuum cleaner does the job best, but it really only fixes the problem because it's difficult to get hair out of its filter after you've cleaned it off your gloves.

I took my time because I wanted to put it to good use. Gloves are a great tool - my cats love them, they pick up fur easily, are easy to clean and aren't too harsh. I've found that there's a lot more play fighting when I use these instead of a brush on my cats, so it's a win-win as my hands remain fairly protected and they like to be groomed. Now they have survived two washes (cold water, laid flat to dry) and there is no sign of material separation. The only caveat is that I have awfully small
