This is a good carrier for a cat or dog up to 20 pounds. The door mechanism is animal proof as it definitely requires a human hand to turn the handle to open the door. Handles as the door can be opened from both the right and left side. I also like the color combination of this carrier. I've seen so many tote bags that do their job but are just plain ugly.
