🐶 Double Orthopedic Pet Bed by Petmate Review

Good dog bed, well worth the price. Unfortunately my cat peed on it and I had to throw it all away because the urine leaked through the removable cover and got into the foam padding. It's holding up well so far. But still, I'm glad I got it for my late girl Holly, RIP.

Dog beds are hardly maintained in the trade or are very expensive. This dog bed was a little more than I was looking to spend and doesn't have as much support as other dog beds I've bought before but for the price it's better than anything I've seen at reputable pet stores and my dog seems to be too to like.

I received this orthopedic bed for my 10 year old boy. She has arthritis in her knees and had trouble getting out of the box she usually slept in. She immediately settled into her new bed and loves to stretch out - it's a king size bed to her! A great pet bed is worth its weight in gold if your pet has stiff joints or is older!

This bed looks very nice so I'm glad to have it in my house. However, the case is of very poor quality and the liner shrinks within a day or two of use. To be fair I have a 130 lb dog that uses it every day. However, I was hoping it would hold up a little better. The price is very good, I do not regret the purchase.

My dog, a 6 year old, 65 pound female Rhodesian Ridgeback Golden Labrador mix, would not sleep on this bed. If we had told her to do it she would have agreed but then left as soon as we let her. Apparently she found it too stiff or uncomfortable. Or maybe she's just being naughty - she loves to sleep curled up in a soft bed that forms a nest around her, which this bed doesn't. This bed is great. My older dog who recently passed away used it for several months towards the end of his life. I bought a memory foam mattress for my bed and it was too hard for her. She had severe arthritis so I bought her this bed and put her on my mattress so she could sleep in the bed at night and get comfortable. My dog loves this bed and it's just what I was looking for. In addition, the brown damask finish makes it an attractive dog bed. This review was written after a month of use with a 72 lb Greyhound. Revain sent the wrong color of the item. The green and cream style was received from Braun after ordering. My dog was due to return home soon so there was no time to return so I can't comment on how easy the process could have been.
