COMPATIBILITY: This adapter is to be used when installing the PetSafe Microchip Cat Flap (PPA19-16145/PPA19-16687) in glass, walls, and doors containing metal. It is also a necessary part for the PetSafe Manual Cat Flap (PPA19-16732) when fitting in glass or a wall. ENERGY EFFICIENT: This mounting adapter contributes to a better resistance to bad weather (gusts of wind, rain.) when your cat flap is to be installed in walls or windows. EASY TO INSTALL: The adapter is suitable for mounting on PVC, single or double glazed windows and doors (please consult a glazier), in a wall, or a door containing metal. DIMENSIONS: This product is suitable for openings with a diameter of 212 mm to 285 mm. Diameter of adapter is 300mm.

Perfect for securing my furry friend!

This adaptor made installing my dog's microchip so much easier .As my tests showed, this product really does provide secure ACCESS while keeping unwanted pets out. It works so well that I don`t have to worry about my dog wandering off or other pets coming into my yard. The only downside is that it can be difficult to install initially, but once it's in place it's seamless. Overall, a great addition to any pet supplies list!

The cat's microchip didn't work, it worked!

I'm not sure if my cat's microchip was further down his shoulder but he couldn't open the pet door, put it on the collar and it worked great every time. His collar doesn't bother him, and as an outdoor/indoor cat, he needed a way to hide in the garage from the weather and the neighborhood cats/coyotes.
