I would have given it a higher rating if it wasn't for the directions. While the product seems pretty good for the price and durable enough for a small dog or cat, it's amazing that someone can assemble it using instructions that were clearly written by a non-English speaker. Just a pinch of extra detail could have made all the difference and avoided a tedious half hour of trial and error. But in the end my superior intellect won out and I passed another test. I was glad to get this for my pet. The assembly was a bit tricky and very heavy. Within 2 weeks of being ridden up and down by a 16lb Dotsie it broke. One of the pieces of wood that holds the brace in place is split down the middle, it appears to be soft wood. An Expensive Lesson I went to my shop and made a replacement. This is the cheapest piece of wood I've ever seen. I made a new part and it broke somewhere else. It looks like it will never work.
