🐶 Dog Training Choke Collar - 3 Pack of Heavy Chains Review

These strong and functional chains. I use Medium on my 7 month old American Bully. He's cute but strong and determined, but this chain gives me some control so he doesn't just drag me along.

Attention: This is not stainless steel. We left ours outside overnight and it got rusty. I can't imagine what this rust on our dog's neck will do over time. It can't be good. I will now spend a little more for a higher quality collar.

Good quality chains. Also, there are three different sizes of chains so choosing the right size was easy and our dog is growing with the others. If you have a puppy that will grow into a large dog this is a good buy. Our dog is 7 months old and the small size fits him perfectly right now. He is a Rotty/Pitbull mix and will grow up to be a medium/large sized dog.

The chains have small nicks on the links and I had trouble handling them. They are very heavy but the ends of the round loops are very small compared to what my pup grew out of. The small loops make it difficult to hook onto the leash when my dog is dancing outside. I bought a set of three Future Growth Incases which in some places were cheaper than buying just one.

While these training collars get the job done, the links are coarse and not very streamlined. Therefore, most of the time they tend to catch rather than slide. This results in the dog accidentally snapping his neck, possibly injuring him. 3 of them were almost the same length and I expected 3 different sizes! Also, I feel burrs in the chain links, which can easily break, and that's not good either! I haven't had a chance to return them yet! I've been so busy! I was hoping to get one of each size, large, medium and small. Not just the thickness of the chains! All of them were of different thickness of chains.
