I've been using Chicane for about a year, I really like how smooth it is. There are other devices, but eye to eye is great too.

This is a great alternative to the original rope wrench. It's so easy to put on and take off when you switch from Ddrt to SRT. i love this shop A bit frustrated, you really need the right Petzl carabiner to fit in the keyhole. The last thing I wanted to do after spending $350 on a zigzag and chicane was spend another $25 on a custom carabiner.

But when I mount the SRT, I throw my zig zag on a pair of cable clamps and prusik line with a hitch climber reel. This makes the tower too tall when zigzagging and severely limits where you can grab the rope. However, it's nice to have a centerline mount. It's easy and fast. Threading a Petzl carabiner and zigzagging through it is a pain in the ass. I love my DRT zigzag. Take it with you to the gas station.
