Safe, comfortable grip helps get high, consistent output with minimal effort. BEST RESULTS- To get the best out of your Peugeot salt grinding mechanism, you should use: dry rock salt, with a max. diameter of 4 mm (0.16"). Not recommended for sea salt. Mills comes partially filled with rock salt for immediate enjoyment.

Very disappointed with this product

Very disappointed with this product and will be returning if I can. Chopper is not adjustable. All I can get is salt powder. Could grind for 10 minutes to get 1/4 tsp! I have a matching pepper mill that works very well. I don't know what's going on with the salt mill.

Pros
  • Salt Mills
Cons

Great Salt Grinder

Unlike the other reviewers I had no problems with this salt grinder which I bought to match my wonderful Peugeot pepper grinder. I bought normal coarse salt and with the help of a button I was able to change the grind from coarse to fine. However, it came with pepper in it! Luckily I opened it up and was able to remove it before any damage was done.

Pros
  • Home & Kitchen
Cons
  • Annoying

The classic vintage Paris salt mill doesn't match the Pepper version.

Bought a pepper and salt mill. Thought they were pretty, not too flashy and would look nice on our dining table. I received the salt grinder and found that it is not the same color or detail as the pepper grinder which is more detailed and darker. The nut that secures the top is also different between the two.

Sturdy hardware, kind of natural finish. a strange sight

I've been touring salt bougies for a while. We keep a Diamond Crystal Kosher to pinch and a Maldon to swap and I thought sometimes these pyramids get so clunky that we also need a way to grind them to fit our pepper mill. Peugeot is the first manufacturer of pepper mills, so why not add some salt? I liked that they would look like chess pieces so the steaks would be great on my plate. I knew I wanted a "natural" finish. I don't know what to say. The actual product is somehow not enough. the…
