Peugeot Reims 8-inch Stainless Steel Pepper Grinder Review

I've been looking for a good pepper mill that will grind an even texture for years. For me, every other pepper grinder leaves large chunks of peppercorns that hurt my teeth! I loved this pepper grinder ($80 at the Viking Store) so much that I bought a $50 travel pepper grinder to carry around with me! It's such a good price I'm almost tempted to buy another one.

I have owned several Peugeot pepper mills over the years and their grinding action is second to none. The mechanism itself is virtually indestructible, but a wooden or acrylic structure can (though rarely) crack over time. This stainless steel model appears to be VERY solid. To top it off, it looks just as elegant in real life as it does in the Revain.com picture - without sacrificing quality or functionality.

Peugot started making pepper mills before they even became a car maker, and they know their stuff. The grinder is the most important part of any pepper mill: the hardened steelwork here is top-notch.
