📦 Versatile PFC 135 100 044 5SF Plastic Carrying Case in Sleek Black Design Review

This is a solid case with 3 pieces of foam on the bottom to hold devices of different heights. I wish it was more of a pick and pinch than rigid foam, but it still works very well. This bag is perfect for my emergency lighting as shown in the photo.

I'll add some photos later. I bought it for my cordless drill and drill bit. I used my razor to patiently trim away the suds and it works fantastic! If you need a durable case to protect your gear, this works great! I recommend taking a foam cutting tool with you when purchasing.

This turned out to be just right for my needs. Be careful when choosing a size. The inner part of the foam is smaller than the overall size. The foam consists of 3 layers: thin, medium and thick, providing a versatile fit for your items. Foam rubber is easily cut with a knife or scissors. I found the knife easier to control for a good fit.

This is a great storage case at an affordable price. I use it to store/display my knives. There are plenty of foam pads (actually 3) that can be positioned however you like, and an integrated pad on the lid. Much stronger than some knife rolls I've had. The foam smells very slightly of chemicals at first, but disappears after a few days. My only downside is that there is no way to block it. You may need to drill handles on the side for a makeshift lock. Except for this great thing.

Of course there are cheaper (and much more expensive) options, but I can't complain about the price. Yes, Harbor Freight sells some cheaper crates than these, but that's what you get. The previous version of this type of case I had was identical but smaller. The gray foam was already crumbling and peeling off all over the contents. When I received this box, I took the time (over an hour) to heat, scrape, pull, cut and otherwise remove the gray foam stuck to the lid. Pooh! Let me tell you, this stuff is not meant to be deleted. We bought this microphone carrying case because of the great price. In general, the case works well. The plastic it is made of has a rough surface.
