I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the cast iron. No doubt they will never take a hard hit, but I don't mean that; So for the price and availability I was very happy with this purchase. If anything comes up that makes me change my mind, I will say so.

These bearings are much better than I expected for the price. In fact, I almost wondered if they sent me the right order. These bearings are lubricated, made of steel and machined to perfection. After receiving the stem I put the stem in and was amazed at how well they fit. That was precision at its finest. I award these 5 stars without hesitation and now I know where to look for good, stable bearings.

Pair has arrived and like others who have purchased this item both bushings are not fitted properly. Both cannot be used in the form in which they were received. I have work to do that should have been done before the product was sold. ***Update*** I was contacted by the company before posting this review. They assured me that once fitted, the bearings would snap into their intended application. I will change the star rating to 3 until I verify what they say.
