A good alternative if you want to keep the original fans.

I prepared myself carefully before buying Halos Digital RGB 120mm fans and Halos Lux Digital RGB 140mm fans. Installation was easy for both. Halos is made of plastic while Halos Lux is made of aluminum which looks nicer and is heavier. Barely noticeable from afar. Only when you hold both in your hands do you feel the difference in the material. In addition, Halos Lux comes in a nice box and with an additional 5V 3pin argb adapter cable as you can see in the pictures. So I decided to buy 2…

Pros
  • Illumination of any fan. There are no performance compromises. Even high-quality fans made of PBT material such as Phanteks MP and SP fans can now be illuminated.
Cons
  • Negative impression

UPDATE DECEMBER 5, 2020 FIRST Some people have asked if they are good with black fans. I painted the Noctua fan trolley white on the OUTSIDE, but not on the inside. The Redux models are dark gray on the outside and inside of the car and the fan blades are really dark gray, almost black. Check out the pictures so you can see for yourself. Yes, they are light. They should be better. They draw 0.72 amps EACH! Also, YES, they also illuminate the front of the fan when mounted on the back of the fan.

Pros
  • Including fastening screws. The Halos Lux Series RGB digital fan case can be attached directly to the fan using the included fan screws, or to a fan mounted on a heatsink using UNC 6-32 heatsink screws.
Cons
  • Good but not great

Two purchased with Noctua Redux fan upgrade. One temporarily arrived in DOA. I'll talk about that later. I did some research to see if this would work with ASRock boards with an addressable connector. Aside from reviews here and there saying "yes, it works," there wasn't much information on whether a cable adapter was required. I decided to go with the digital version anyway as I don't mind playing around with it. And it works, based directly on the addressable header. I used 3 single pin…

Pros
  • . Light spreads evenly thanks to High Density Digital LEDs and diffuser.
Cons
  • Zero

A small overview of the product according to the setup guide. So you must have this. Second, if you're using Aura, you're done now. You're doing it wrong, but you're in the mood. To say his aura is ready is a lie. So star down. The packaging says you need an adapter. They don't tell you which adapter. because they don't seem to be selling it anymore. (Once I found it, it appears to be PH-CB-DRGB3P_MB 3, which appears to be only available in China). Getting a VDG to RGB 3-pin adapter is not easy

Pros
  • Simple cable routing. Daisy chaining all Phanteks Digital RGB products together
Cons
  • not sure
