Phanteks PH EC300PTG_BW Eclipse Tempered Glass Review

I've seen other reviewers mention missing parts but thought it would be ok. I was also missing a back panel for expansion ports, which is really weird for a brand new case, like Phanteks just forgot to put it on at the factory?

#1 DO NOT USE THIS IF YOU HAVE A MODULAR POWER SUPPLY. The hard drive bracket had to be removed, after which no 3.5 inch hard drives fit where they belong. Very long cables are needed to power the CPU and mobo power. You will also need longer 8-pin PCI-e power cables for the GPU. Front Panel doesn't let much air through, small vents on top and bottom, case looks cool on the outside but is a big pain on the inside.

Very happy with this case. Its simple and clean design makes it attractive to me. It's relatively compact as it only fits on a standard ATX motherboard. Tempered glass is a great feature, especially at this price point. Cable management is nice and easy. I've added some LED strips to spice up the case and I have to say I'm very happy with it. A great choice for the casual PC builder and anyone on a budget if you're trying to snag one when it's $60. The only downsides I can think of are that it…

SO I want to give this 5 stars but there are a few downsides. First, the top case dust cover has weak magnets. Not critical, but it would be nice to have a higher quality. Secondly, the ventilation openings on the front of the case are too small. I had to put bigger fans in the air intake to get enough airflow to keep the CPU and GPU cool. so i moved all my components from an old huge and very gaming case to this one but the problem i had was with my modular power supply. I have a Corsair HX750i and it barely fits when all the cables are connected due to the hard drive bay, but it fits. I bought my PC and transplanted it into this case. I love the case itself and the entire assembly was easy, quick and clean. The only complaint isn't with the body, but with the packaging. The hard foam was like a teddy bear when unpacked and may not have coped with the shipping either. Bought this cover for HPC. After seeing how good it is, I think I should really put something stronger in it. You can add a 280mm radiator in the front, which is amazing given its compact size. The built in lights are a nice addition and I think I'll buy a fan that can also change the color of the light in the future to use with this guy.
