Doesn't fit my stock 2009 Toyota Corolla S

Gtes 4 stars because when I said it didn't fit the headlight socket Revain gave a full refund without having to return it. I got one locally that fits my headlight. Revain shipping would have made it more convenient not to settle for one, and it would have been a few bucks cheaper than a similar one. Luckily it's a common replacement and available elsewhere, but if it were something Toyota specific and urgent I'd be even pissed that it didn't fit. Please make any necessary corrections or…

Avoid This Product - Incandescent Bulbs

A few months ago I installed a low beam on a KLR650 and it seemed to work - it emitted light. I rarely drive at night, but whenever I did I couldn't see the road in the low beams and had to turn on the high beams to see the road at all. Whenever I hit a car they would flash me high beam like I was turning the headlights on high beam even though I didn't. I thought maybe I turned the lightbulb upside down, took it apart, and that's not possible on my bike. When I pulled it out, I saw that the…

Decent bulb that lights up the road at an affordable price

I have a 2006 Honda CR-V that the headlights seem to blow out frequently (3-6 months average). That may be because I've been buying brighter bulbs all the time (to compensate for the severe clouding of the lenses) and still haven't used dielectric grease (despite the fact that friends said it would help stop using the bulbs before Run away). I decided to change a few things with this lamp setup. First I restored and sealed the lenses. Second, I used dielectric grease. As always, I used latex…

For two years I've been trying to find a set of LED 9005 high beams that cost a penny. All had issues of one sort or another (some didn't support DRL functionality, although you might think these are basic things; some didn't emit light in a way that wasn't even remotely correct, some flickered no matter what seat belt or adapter or whatever resistor you used) and in the end I just broke down and bought them knowing I probably should have had them from the start. And the difference is real…

These magic lanterns will turn you into illuminati and criminals!

Now there's a chance you're buying them for their true purpose: to replace your lamps. If so, then everything is fine. But if you followed the hidden paths of Youtube and came here as a hopeful member of the secret Illuminati Autolumen Club, your journey is almost over. Get them and a precise knife, and new worlds will open up for you. Well, if not new worlds, then at least a few tens of yards down the road on a dark night. Yes, DOT says you'll gouge your eye out. Others say using it in high…
