No P21W bulbs, keep 3157 bulbs :(

This is not a P21W bulb, the description says it is a bulb, actually comes every time it is 3157. Buy not this product as it is not the correct product I would recommend buying a Bosch P21W instead as this is the correct product in its description.

Not for brake light

Not for Volkswagen brake light 2003. They fit the top of the brake light housing but not the actual brake light housing piece. The bulb is for a top light, not a bottom brake light, although Revane says it will fit, believe me it won't. The ears are not offset on this model.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Negative results found

Wrong bulb for 2005 Honda CRV

Despite Amazon's promise of compatibility this bulb did not fit my 2005 Honda CRV, the bulb in my picture could be the correct bulb for all years from 2002 to 2006 according to some videos on youtube . I checked but am not sure. The original bulb I removed did not have a product code but I was able to locate the correct voltage and wattage after visiting 2 auto parts stores. The correct bulb is #7528 in the attached photo.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • Nothing here

A lightbulb lasted 3 months and the factory lamp 7 years.

I installed 6 of these bulbs and replaced all the headlights on the back of my 2011 Mini Cooper which had a brake light failure almost 7 years ago since I bought the car new. So this time I guess I should replace all of them, even if only one was burned out. After 3 months one of these double living bulbs had burned out. I was glad I bought 2 extra in advance. So I would recommend all buyers to do the same and save a few extras just in case.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • So-so

Do not buy. You will receive 2 packs of Philips 3157 with a different socket

This happened 2 times; 4 days apart. P21W are equivalent. up to 1057 bulbs (12V, 21W; one filament, same socket). I think the 1057 has been discontinued and I don't know of an equivalent. If Revain/Supplier can send the item in the photo to https://www.amazon.com/Philips-12498LLB2-P21WLLB2-Longer-Life/dp/B00R57VOQU/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=1057+bulb&qid=1629141627&sr= 8-3, everything would be fine, but someone picked 3157 as the wrong substitute twice.

Pros
  • practical part
Cons
  • Clarity
