Exactly what I ordered.

As advertised. Wanted a big brand name after those from the local hardware store kept parting with the metal part that screws in. Sometimes it doesn't have to be cheap.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

JUNK lamp good for incandescent

I should have looked at the 1 star reviews. Burnt out lightbulb in a souvenir cabinet after 6 weeks of limited use. I think I should get my money back! Phillips, are you reading this?

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Like a lightbulb, but heats up quickly.

I like the little bulb but it gets very hot, doesn't rate the lawn for more than five minutes or the whole unit heats up, other than that I think it's great.

Pros
  • Convenient item
Cons
  • Legacy model

Dangerous - EXPLOSION AND LAMPSHOT! lack of quality?

I've used them before with no problems but the latest from Revain worked here. This is the type of lamp that works with the lamp. 3 months later, one night, I only turned it on for a few minutes before it suddenly burst, exploded and flew out of the lamp like a rocket! Very dangerous! It exploded and crashed into the wall, cutting my arm with one of the flying pieces of glass. Luckily no one was in front of him as he fired straight from the base. The base of the lamp was broken and was still in

mm 1. R14 is a 1.75 inch reflector. Warm 2800 K. Rated voltage 120 V. Dimmable: Yes, Brass thread: NO. Use a protective shield when lamp failure could be dangerous. Lifespan: 511 days at 3 hours per day. CHINA price paid in May 2020 $1.85. I'll update this when I get the early rejection noticed by others. good for accent or fill lighting in a shop window, but not bright enough for a task lamp and not the best choice to replace a high intensity Tensor lamp. It only emits 250 lumens, which is…

Bulbs get very hot

The light itself is fine. Bright, warm in general, what I wanted for such a price. The biggest problem is that it gets very hot. I accidentally touched it after leaving it for a while (maybe 40 minutes) and it hurt. Nothing serious, no visible burns, but alarming nonetheless.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Socket required

Works great as a lava lamp lamp for a properly sized lava lamp.

Works great as a lava lamp when used with a dimmer. I turn the dimmer to full power to make the lava lamp run faster and when it's fully warmed up you can dim it down to half power at 20w to get the lava lamp working perfectly or adjust it as needed to get the effect You want to. 40 watts won't overheat a lava lamp, but I won't let it stay that high just to get it working. Significantly increases lamp life.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • dim

a 17mm 1. R14 is a 1.75 inch reflector. Warm 2800K. Rated voltage 120V. Dimmable: Yes; Hours Per Day CHINA Price Paid as of May 2020 $1.85 Fill light but not bright enough for a work lamp and not the best choice for a high intensity replacement tensor lamp. It only puts out 250 lumens, which is extremely inefficient for a 40W power draw. I use this in a gooseneck lamp in the bedroom. It's style is easier on the eyes when the lamp is in sight. At 110 volts it's pretty dark. Only at voltages…

  • Excellent overall performance
