Nothing for the true espresso lover!

I was looking for a car to replace my 8 year old Saeco and it kept popping up! It went on sale and I thought I'd give it a try. The taste of the coffee is ok, but if you are an espresso lover the crema gets lousy! And yes, I turn the grinder to its finest setting. The crema is nothing like the photos or videos (note that in the Philips video they cut out the end of the coffee brewing process and replaced it with two fully "stylized" espressos with great crema). I love all the features of the…

good price with high quality

I'm a big latte lover. I have used Keurig and Nespresso espresso machines for many years. I wasn't happy with the quality of the lattes I made with these machines, but I figured the main reason they didn't taste as good as the ones I bought from coffee shops was the quality of my coffee pods and milk Poorly. enough. Until recently I read several articles and realized that I could try a better coffee maker. I did some analysis and settled on this Philp 2200 espresso machine which I received this

Great espresso machine, great foam, easy to clean, nothing more!

Great machine, great espresso and coffee. In order to get a good foam, the foam tube needs to be adjusted. After watching the YouTube video, you can take the pin and press the top to release more steam. Now it works great. After years of using a typical espresso machine and having to throw old coffee grounds in the bin and then scrape the coffee grounds off my Breville's grinder, I just got tired of cleaning up the mess. There is no mess in this machine other than a few drops of frothed milk, I

Tasty, environmentally friendly and economical.

This has quickly become a favorite part of my morning routine! This is my first fully automatic coffee machine and espresso machine. I had a Nespresso Vertuo and loved the Intenso and Stormio flavored coffees and the Diavolito espresso shots. I made the switch for environmental reasons and to save money. The Nespresso machine was cheaper, but each Vertuo pod was $1, and with the amount of coffee I drink (2-3 cups a day), I regret limiting my coffee experience. Compared to a $15 per pound bag of

What a big difference to Saeco!

What a big difference to my old Saeco. The design is really European, I would compare it to Siemens or Bosch that my friends in Germany have. The water tank is twice the size, conveniently transparent to see the water level, the silicone bean lid keeps the coffee fresh, and the water tank is on the right side as most of us are right-handed, easy to use and easy to clean. Fully automatic and very neat and modern look. One of the biggest improvements is also the quality of the case - it's made of

Good price espresso machine

I've been using this machine for a few weeks now and I really like it. I've used commercial super machines and small traditional home espresso machines and grinders in the past, but this was the first super machine I bought for home use. I find it's incredibly versatile for the variety of drinks it can make and I really like the built in coffee grinder, it saves me a lot of counter space. I've seen several reviews on here complaining about the quality of the espresso this machine produces, but…

Nothing to do but enjoy an exceptional espresso!

What an update! I switched from coffee to espresso a few years ago after a trip to Italy. I grind the grains myself and use both a small Bialetti pot and an inexpensive DiLonghi. I love a good espresso. Stop putting up with the constant mess of static floor everywhere and hand washing everything. Every damn cup. Maybe that's why the espresso was once and is ready all day. Now I'll push a button (okay, a few buttons), grab my tastiest cup, and stop touching the car until I feel different! Drink,

A coffee maker that also brews espresso and NOT the other way around

I would like to start this review by saying that I drink espresso every day and have experience with an espresso machine. In this test there will be many comparisons with a standard espresso machine and not with a coffee machine. My espresso machine I'm comparing against is a standard De'Longhi 15 bar coffee maker, nothing special that sells for under $150. I ordered this machine because I liked the idea of not shooting anymore, emptying the basket, then taking another shot and then emptying…
