High Definition Voice Cordless Speaker Phone - Philips CD 4401 Review

The battery doesn't last that long. I wish they weren't the same batteries. Everything else is fine, but take it seriously when it comes to batteries.

Philips CD 4401 Cordless phone with High DefVoice speaker is terrible. It's hard to listen to, hard to program, and generally hard to work with. I will try to return.

This is the case of a quality brand that has launched a poor quality product. I have encountered many battery issues along with other people who have reviewed this phone. Doesn't hold a charge well. But now, a year after the purchase. The microphone stopped working completely! The people I call can't hear anything on their end no matter how well I can hear them. For this brand and for this price, this device should be much more reliable.

While not perfect I am happy with my purchase of this CD4401 phone. It's slim, beautiful and thanks to DECT 6.0 it offers excellent sound quality without any background noise, even the whisper of static noise that is inevitable even with the best 2.4/5.8 GHz technologies. A real plus is the standard 2.5mm headphone jack, which is hard to find on DECT 6.0 phones.
