One of the reasons I chose the Philips monitor (besides the included 4 year warranty) was the fact that there were very few open Philips monitors for sale online compared to the hundreds from other manufacturers. Since a large number of open-packaged items for sale is usually a sign of a return caused by dissatisfied customers, I think Philips' low scores are a good indicator of quality. No doubt the price is great, I work from home now and this screen is perfect for that. I definitely recommend a monitor mount for your computer, it works great. First of all, it doesn't have any speakers, but come on, who uses the built-in speakers anyway, it does have a speaker input. I would say just buy speakers for your computer, I use a wireless headset for my computer but I don't need speakers. The games are good too.

All connections checked, no power. Damn. 3 stars because I may have been wrong. If you want to try it, I didn't find any other shortcomings. The display is sufficient for normal work; I'm not super picky. No player.

The ad is amazing. What they don't tell you about this monitor is that you can't adjust it up or down, you can only tilt it. In addition, the monitor does not have a speaker. If I had known those two things, I would have paid an extra $100 for a monitor with these basic features. In addition, the stand is so thin that the monitor wobbles when typing. I have it next to my HP monitor that doesn't move.

My wife bought it to fit the size of her old (but not bezelless) ACER (dual display setup) monitor. I attached it to a desk mount with two levers and placed it on the desk, standing on its bottom edge. It fell forward (but not off the table) and the glass shattered, destroying the video scan (so the weird whirlwind thing is now always visible halfway down the screen).

I am very positively surprised by the HD quality of the display. We have a Lenovo ThinkStation as our primary home computer, and it gets all-round use from kids playing games that are very system-intensive -- with no flickering, bright appearance when I'm using it for email and work. Just the perfect size and look - better than expected.

I have been using this system for 2 weeks. The display is average. You get what you pay for. But there is a constant buzz. No problem with my junction box as some might think.

I like that it's clear. My eyesight isn't perfect, so I might be missing some finer qualities. For me it's great. This is a good size for my table. Mounting screw holes are great for desktop display holders and laptops. Plus, it turns on quickly.

Still couldn't be happier. The picture quality is excellent. Installation was plug and play. 5 stars across the board.

The darkest screen settings are so bright it hurts your eyes. And the screen stand tilts the screen to the left. 😢 A little wrinkled.

Crappy design for assembly. The cable between the power supply and the monitor is too short for use with the articulating arm. I had to use electrical tape to attach the power supply to my arm! Also, the VESA mount is not vertically centered on the back of the monitor. The mount is on the top of the monitor so the monitor sits lower. I can just send it back.

This is a great monitor to use as a second screen for work. It's a good size to see clearly, it's nice and bright. There are no speakers if that's what you're after for gaming.

I really thought it would be a decent monitor but not that good but this monitor is really great, came quickly and it wouldn't take more than 5 minutes to get the color and brightness perfectly matched to you. I 100% recommend this monitor!

Bought after returning scepter with great reviews. The Philips screen looks bigger, brighter and has a clearer resolution. Looks great on my table. I installed it on a VESA monitor mount. I recommend this monitor.

I really like the display of this monitor and everything, it was perfect until I discovered it doesn't have a speaker which is a little disappointing! Otherwise everything seems fine. I bought it a few days ago, I hope it stays functional. Also, it doesn't have a USB port, so you can't use external speakers that aren't wireless or don't have a regular audio jack. It's a great basic monitor that even includes some advanced blue light management features and subtle beveling. I bought 2 of these at a competitor's price.
