I gave it five stars because it arrived safe and sound. the bad news. that does not fit. Obviously, looking almost the same isn't enough. There are thin protrusions at the base that interfere with installation. Buyer beware. I think I found the right bulb and will order it. wish me luck.

I am using these compact fluorescent bulbs to replace the cheaper versions that were originally installed in a new build. All original bulbs failed after a few hundred hours of use. They seem to have a much longer lifespan (no crashes so far) and have a nice color temperature - not too blue. I am very happy.

I found these bulbs were getting harder and harder to find. Big stores don't have them, and local electric companies want you to order these bulbs in bulk. If you have a fixture that uses these types of bulbs, I highly recommend stocking up on them. I have a feeling they're going to get harder and harder to find.
