Great replacement

I needed to start replacing my old X-10 home automation modules with something that doesn't depend on the power line but still works when the internet isn't is available. It could still be controlled with my existing HCA home automation software and could also be controlled by voice using Alexa, Siri or Google Assistant. I researched several brands and chose Hue because it meets all my needs. Setup wasn't too difficult, I found it much easier to set up the bulbs if I installed them one at a…

More Cons Than Pros - Updated March 2019

Okay, I'll leave my original review from almost two years ago at the end of this one updated review was published in March 2019. Philips has improved a lot since I got it on Black Friday 2017. I've even added more Hue lights around my house, in almost every room except bedrooms and bathrooms, because they've come this far. Remote connectivity has greatly improved, you can turn the lights on and off from almost anywhere. The app updates were also a great bonus. Scenes, fully customizable times…
