Description of ๐Ÿ’ก Enhance Your Space with Philips LED Single Dimmable 35 Degree: A Versatile Lighting Solution

Philips PAR20 LED spot light bulbs provide 500 lumens of bright white, dimmable light, equivalent to 50-watt incandescents with 80% less energy use. These bulbs fit standard medium base (E26) fixtures and have a 35-degree beam angle ideal for spot lighting. Philips LED dimming is flicker-free, silent, and tested work with more dimmer switches than any other LED on the market. The light dims smoothly from 3000-kelvin down to a glow with greater clarity than traditional incandescent light bulbs. Philips LEDs turn on instantly with energy-efficient, steady, natural lighting at 1/4 of the energy of incandescents, 1/2 the energy of halogens. Philips LEDs are mercury-free so they don't contribute to harmful hazardous waste. Energy Star Certified. Philips LED bulbs last 10x longer than incandescents and 4X longer than halogens making them a great choice for landscapes and security devices in hard to reach areasโ€”saving you the cost and hassle of frequent bulb changes. Not for use with Philips HUE products. Each bulb in this pack of four PAR20 Philips LEDs is expected to deliver a lifetime of up to 25,000 hours and over 22 years of use (based on three hours of usage per day), saving you the cost and hassle of frequent bulb replacement. COMFORTABLE LIGHT: Our products meet strict test criteria including flicker, strobe, glare and color rendition to ensure they meet EyeComfort requirements. Switch to Philips LED, light thatโ€™s designed for the comfort of your eyes.

Great replacement for a range hood

Even though I got my lightbulbs cheaper at Home Depot, they're still great lightbulbs. I have used them to replace the halogens in my range hood and they work as advertised. They were a little tight initially, but once installed they were flush with the edge of the surface. White color perfect for cooking. In our area, ComEd offered an instant discount so the cost was under $3 each.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion

LED and dimmable, but 3000k?

I ordered these to replace internal 50 watt bays which are no longer available. They are significantly brighter than 50 watt incandescent bulbs and the color is very blue for 3000K. I googled 3000k and looked at pictures of 3000k. The 3000k has a wide range of colors shown and outperforms anything shown in terms of color. We have a dimmer on these recessed lights and they are dimmable. I'm sending them back.

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • I will add later

Beam distribution very different from PAR20 Halogen

Beam distribution not very uniform for floodlight It's more like a spot with a very small light source. This is not the best replacement for Sylvania CAPSYLITE PAR20; which has good beam distribution. Good shadow. Actually dims to zero, unlike some others. The color is good for a warm white bulb. The lamp is marked 3000K but the light looks more like a 2700K bulb. Color rendering is almost as good as with halogen.

Pros
  • Durable coating
Cons
  • Damaged
