💇 Philips Norelco Nose Hair Trimmer 3000: Precision Groomer for Nose, Ears & Eyebrows with 6-Piece Set Review

Used mainly for ear hair, worked great. Which was satisfactory for the price. And then it didn't happen. It does not begin. Batteries checked, no dice. It has a strange on/off mechanism. It's not a button, you twist the bottom of the device to turn it on, which probably begs the question. Because of this way of working, I also sometimes found it "switched on" in a desk drawer, which inevitably drained the battery if it was still running.

Was a little unclear what to expect after reading the lower reviews. Now I'm sure I made the right choice. Mind you, I've only used it once, but it worked fine. Of course, that doesn't justify some of the bad reviews, especially those regarding the poor editing. Maybe those people aren't using it properly or just not on the hair it was meant for. Both man and woman work great. Nose hair works as expected. No pain. All profits. But the little side razor is a real treat! Trimming your ear hair is easy, but the real winner is the eyebrows. I don't usually write reviews. I'm only writing this because I'm angry about this purchase. When a product gets a lot of good reviews, I usually trust it. In this case, however, that couldn't be further from the truth. In other words, it doesn't cut anything. Nose hair should be trimmed in a few minutes at most, not a few hours and still nothing. I don't use it on my ears at all so I have no experience of how it would work in that area, just a warning. This is my second rhinoplasty product from Philips and I have to say it's great. I use it for more than just my nose and eyebrows. Although trimming the nose does a great job! I shave with it too and it doesn't clog and feels much better than a razor. The brows come in two sizes and I use the smaller one to keep the brows in good length and that's great for not taking too much weight off.

I have the old version and it worked fine, I used it for a couple of years until the trimmer head broke so I went with this one thinking it would be better or at least something similar for her. I WAS WRONG. It doesn't cut as well as the old version! Make multiple passes when trying to cut hair perpendicular to the trimmer or even at different angles! It's even worse if you try to cut the hair above your ears.

I've been using these Norelco nose hair trimmer models for 15 or 20 years and the one I use at home is as old and working as the day I bought it (hint - after use, just rinse the cutter with some soap and water and it will last for years) I bought this to keep at the holiday home as I keep forgetting to pack the old one when I travel there.
