Defective right out of the box!

Although it appears to be in the original Philips Sonicare box, I am concerned that the product is counterfeit. I have been using a Philips Sonicare toothbrush for at least 15 years. We never received a defective replacement brush until we ordered this one. One of the brushes seems to work fine, but the other barely vibrates. I might as well use a regular toothbrush. I compared two brushes and the one that doesn't work seems to be missing a magnet on the bottom of the brackets that go into the…

  • Same as everything before

I'm staying with Philips: I no longer need generics.

I have tried several highly rated generics. Maybe a lot of people don't see the difference, but I can. Philips Sonicare brushes have a lot more "trail" behind the turn of the bristles. I believe their neodymium magnets are just stronger and that makes a difference. You can tell if you turn on the brush and just start touching the bristles. Philips heads do not shorten the vortex. The other two generics I tried reduce the effects immediately. For me, that means less cleaning action when the…

Pros
  • Quality build
Cons
  • New competitors appear

You pay a little more for genuine replacement brush heads but it's still cheaper than buying from BB&B etc. Your reward is over Fake Brands is a toothbrush that is pleasant and quiet to use. I've used alternative brands before and the sound was terrible - waking the dead is annoying. A problem, of course, when your baby sleeps in the hallway. The difference appears to be the size/orientation of the magnet at the base of the head. Until someone figures out how to fit Sonicare heads, don't waste…

High performance interchangeable heads

These heads were expensive but they work great. I was surprised how much more the new heads vibrate. I didn't realize how weak my old head was until I tried the replacement head! I'm thankful they exist so I don't have to throw out my electric toothbrush and buy a new one. I am not a paid reviewer. I shop at Revain weekly. I'll wait until I've used the product to form an honest opinion before posting a review. I will answer questions if I don't think the seller should answer.

Yes but no. for oral care

These replacement parts work well BUT I am disappointed with the amount of plastic used in their manufacture and packaging. I thought I'd need dynamite or surgical tools to get them out of the plastic! Serious. Also note that you don't just get the brush, you get the entire part that attaches to the case, magnet assembly, etc. Look at the photo - too much plastic was used. I will use the two new ones forever. The product is great overall and helps with flossing and water purifiers to keep my…

Regret this purchase

I have used this product before and it was good. This time the seal on one of the three brushes was broken just enough to pull the brush out of the bag. I started using it but nowadays I don't think it's a good idea so 33% of my money is junk. Second brush installed. I screwed it in normally but it barely vibrates so something has changed. I went to my local Ingles and found a range of brushes. I was able to hold it, saw that the brushes had not been tampered with before I spent my money and…

I don't think it's fake.

I received a package of 3 within 2 days today. I was hesitant to buy them after reading all the one star reviews I always read first. They mostly assume it's fake, made in China etc. Some have posted pictures of them in plastic bags, others have reported bad buzzing and bristles falling out. So I ordered them and then went to the Philips website and ordered the ones that haven't arrived yet. I know this is the official Philips website because my credit card was charged from the Netherlands…
