Description of πŸ”§ Effortless Brake & Clutch Bleeding with Phoenix Systems (2002HD-B) Heavy Duty Reverse Bleeder - One Person, Cast Aluminum Design

Patented Reverse Bleeding removes more trapped air than any other brake bleeder by simply pushing Brake Fluid fluid from the bottom up. Reverse bleeding is the only method capable of bleeding tough ABS units without a scan tool. Allows you to refill and bleed a completely dry brake or clutch system. Perform Reverse, Vacuum, Pressure and Bench bleeding all with the same tool. The MaxProHD is considered a Heavy Duty tool for everyday shop use. It is compatible with DOT 3, 4 and 5.1 brake fluid. Comes with a injection molded hard case and is constructed of cast aluminum alloy. Is the easiest one-person bleeder you will ever use. No more asking your co-worker to help you finish a brake job.

Apparently, if you compare, this device was already in service.

This unit seems to have been used if you compare the picture I took, there is a black fingerprint on it, some yellow liquid in the reservoir and syringe, also if you compare the picture with one of the Participants here, all color chips in EXACTLY the same place, I wonder why? By the way, this thing doesn't work.

Not worth the money.

Before you can bleed the brakes, you must bleed the brake bleeder. And it kept getting air bubbles. I haven't even bled the brakes yet. Now I'm a bit scared too because the thing pumps more air than an air compressor. The hoses and fittings are a joke too. Not worth the money I paid for it. Just bled the brakes and ended up using a vacuum bleeder. Bleeding back is a joke. And Stacey in the video is an idiot. Not worth the money, don't buy this expensive junk.

Pros
  • Solid design
Cons

Works but Awkward

The tool requires a lot of force to squeeze the handle and force fluid back through the system. The grip does not return easily and requires a pull back. The fittings begin to leak easily under the high pressure required to move the fluid. Nice concept, but the price of €300 is a bit high for tough professional use. I've been a mobile technician for years and have experimented with every bleed system available and the only one that really works is an air pedal pump that remotely moves the brake

Ideal for brake tools

Tool well made and working! I had a hydraulic coupler on a trailer and just couldn't get the air out of the hours I spent bleeding it, even using the vacuum style. I got this new Max Pro tool and it worked, after 10 minutes I had a good pedal and the truck was shifting better than ever, it was always hard to get out of reverse, no more. I read some bad reviews of this tool before I bought it and some good reviews and of course you get some oil when you bleed the brakes but other than that the…

  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Poor quality control, didn't work

This venting system probably would have worked if put together better. The tool came straight out of the box with chips and traces of touch-ups. I've bought cheaper tools that looked way better, so I was already doubting this tool. Assembled the kit and followed the instructions to prime the pump. The fittings and hoses are made of good materials, but there was a leak somewhere in the supply hose because I could never get a solid column of liquid into the pump. The tool is of no use pumping air

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • unreliable

I had no luck with that. if .

I had no luck with this. If you happened to borrow it from a friend and it worked fine for you, I would take it. I tried the RFI but it seems like the liquid just goes to the bottom instead of through the bleed device. I don't know if it helped a little. I then went to try to pump but the bottle cap got stuck and I ended up breaking the tabs and eventually the cap itself. I'm sure a cheaper option would have done the same. The instructions are a little vague in some places, but are mostly…

It's the little things!

Revain Superior ordering, shipping, backordering and returns. Phoenix System MaxProHD is a good tool and at least works for RFI. However, this is classified as a premium tool and even the replacement tool is missing a few things. According to the description of the Smart-Pak on page six of the owner's manual, these are: - #7 is missing one of the three cone adapters - #10 is missing the 3/16 x 4mm adapter - #15 is missing the 28mm bottle cap - # .16 bottle cap missing 33mm in diameter. I wrote…
