Integrated support for Windows 10!

Works great out of the box on Windows 10. No driver required. It must be a technical product. If you want to upgrade your PC with more devices, this is the PCIe device for you. I made a short video about how much I love this product. I gave it 4 stars because the USB 3.0 cables are very tight and almost impossible to pull out. You can break the connector like me but I was able to put it back together. Works well.

Pros
  • Extension with 2 19-pin USB3.0 ports (expandable to 4 USB 3.0 ports) from a desktop PC with a free PCIe slot.
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Is working. Not for the faint of heart

Works after driver installation. Added a total of 2 USB 3 females to allow 4 USB 3 ports. One star deducted because the driver installation was a royal PIA. Don't try for a complete novice. If you want to add a card, plug it in, and let Windows search for a driver, this isn't for you. Windows 7 computer, no idea how W10 handles the card. I needed a Renesas uPD720201 or uPD720202 host controller driver to make the card work. I'm not sure which one actually worked. I installed and reinstalled…

Pros
  • SuperSpeed USB 3.0 delivers 10x the performance of HiSpeed USB 2.0.
Cons
  • Repair

I saved my "ass " on a build that blocks graphics cards.

I bought a 9th gen MSI motherboard that redesigned and moved the internal USB 3 port to the left side instead of the back of the board. This prevented me from adding a second graphics card to a dual video build when the connector was in use. The workaround was to buy THAT internal hub so I can put the graphics card in without losing the internal USB 3's that go to the front connectors on the case. Last time I checked it was working fine.

Pros
  • SuperSpeed USB 3.0 is backward compatible with USB 1.0/1.1/2.0 devices (transfer rate 1.5/12/480 Mbit/s).
Cons
  • Expensive
