Description of Phosphate Coated Stainless Phillips Boltstar Fasteners in Screws

Measurements: #6 X 1-1/4". Our drywall screws feature smaller heads and are used to secure drywall to metal studs. Sharp tip: optimized tip geometry for better positioning and stacking of the screw, even on a hard surface. Pozi drive: It has eight times better grip than a slotted head and two times better than Philips head, allowing greater torque. High thread pitch: gives faster drive and thereby reducing the time of installation. Dependent: Our Flat Head Wood Screws are very strong and are great for both indoor and outdoor use. This stainless is superior to regular steel and provides excellent rust resistance.

Most likely Flat Steel Drywall Screws

on the package label. They are strongly attracted to a magnet and are almost certainly not stainless steel. Ferromagnetic stainless steel exists but is very expensive and only used in unusual applications such as stainless steel induction cookware. It is never used for such fasteners.
