Shaft size inaccurate and too small for standard Dremel collet

Shaft runs small. Not true .125" and it slides and moves in a standard Dremel collet. The felt is stiff and strong, but the shank issue renders them nearly useless and somewhat dangerous.

Pros
  • Material: felt, metal; Shaft diameter 3mm / 1/8 inch (Sorry for small sizing errors)
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Good price compared to store prices.

Fits the Dremel Multi-Pro. I used three of these to polish a 10/22 sear, bolt and hammer to a near mirror finish. The fabric helps well, doesn't tear or fall apart. I used three because the polish turned the felt very black. It's probably enough for a few years.

Pros
  • Package content: 20 felt tips
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Good value for money

High quality felt pads. I used them with a Dremel 4000 series tool to polish small metal/plastic parts. The felt holds its shape very well. Others have mentioned that they tend to loosen in the tool holder, but I haven't encountered this before.

Pros
  • Can be used with drills, power grinders or other rotary tools
Cons
  • Out of style
