Not as advertised

These pliers do not appear as advertised. You have to throw the tips of these tongs into the forge and pull them out for them to actually hold something. Otherwise they don't understand anything well enough for blacksmithing.

Pros
  • Designed for the user
Cons
  • Many things

Very strong and reliable

Very strong and reliable. Excellent price. I've been wearing them for at least a month and they haven't melted. It's good. My husband uses them to make knives in his forge and such and I have not heard any complaints about them. I would buy them again.

Pros
  • Quality assured
Cons
  • Generally good but...

It looks like hand forging.

Not as good quality as I expected. And not as big as I expected. I hope it lasts when in use. Not sure what will happen given the low quality and looseness of the mechanism. Will update when my husband actually uses lt.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Crumpled

fur . Hammers too short

I'll start by saying I'm new to this hobby. That was my first pair of pliers. The handles are too short for me. I'd like to be a few inches away from the heat. I can adjust the flex a bit better, but . I can no longer do them. At least until I get better at handling metal.

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

They're too short - read the fine print!

When working with objects that will be heated to 2000Β°F, you will need much longer lengths than this. They are short - the description of the picture is a bit misleading, although the length is given in small print. I'll keep it for occasional use anyway and maybe weld extensions to the handles.

Pros
  • Sledgehammers
Cons
  • Something Else
