Nice frames but the matte is nowhere near white. It's more of a creamy color that doesn't work for the project I'm working on. Now I have to get all the new mats. It's not the end of the world, it just looks a little deceptive.

These picture frames are perfect for my little daughter's room! It's not real glass (but it looks like it) so I don't have to worry about them accidentally breaking it, and glass is everywhere! It comes with wall hanging hooks, very easy to use!

I bought 2 of these frames for 2 very special photos of my mum and dad. No acid-free cardboard or anything like that. the frame has good latches to hold the back come on. This should tell you that they have film on both sides that you need to remove. To take it off, use your fingernail on the corner and try to scrape it off so it can come loose. Do this on both sides.

The carpet is too large and uneven and therefore not suitable for 8x8 photography. I even tried gluing the photo into the opening and it just looks silly because you can see a small gap between the photo paper and the mat. I bought them as a gift and they are useless. Also, I've exceeded the return window so I can't return them. Useless. So I placed an urgent order with the printer. If you use them like regular 10x10 frames, they're probably fine.

You can just hang it on the wall, but when you touch it or hold it in your hands you will see how cheap it is. The wood resembles balsa. It is easy to dent, and the paint is easily scratched and chipped. Acrylic is very thin and scratches easily. Even though the acrylic comes with a protective plastic layer that you can peel off, mine was still scratched. The kit comes with a carpet, but again flimsy and cheap. I wasn't expecting much considering it's made in China, but still, the $20 price…

So these are good basic frames for small works of art. But the first time they sent the wrong size (8x10 instead of 8x8). The second time they sent me 8x8, but the actual visible area of the frame was smaller - 7.5" x 7.5" (see image) and I didn't want to crop my prints to that size.
