Poor materials make it too expensive
You can just hang it on the wall, but when you touch it or hold it in your hands you will see how cheap it is. The wood resembles balsa. It is easy to dent, and the paint is easily scratched and chipped. Acrylic is very thin and scratches easily. Even though the acrylic comes with a protective plastic layer that you can peel off, mine was still scratched. The kit comes with a carpet, but again flimsy and cheap. I wasn't expecting much considering it's made in China, but still, the $20 price point isn't worth it due to the poor quality of materials.
