Great for batting

I use these for my batting sessions. Don't forget to soak them in hot water before putting them on. Sometimes they don't start to come loose and I push them back. So far I've only lost 1 tip while teaching a class.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • will add later

I have used POUND sticks

I have not used them for normal purposes. I put them on the tops of plastic clubs for a group fitness class I run. We tap the soil, so they are used to make soils. They are difficult to put on and once they are on, they are very difficult to take off. They are fairly durable but usually break after a few uses. So order extra so you have spares on hand.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Update available

Great for POUND Ripstix

Bought to apply over my green POUND Ripstix for Sport to protect the floor at the gym I work at. They are easy to apply by dipping the rubber tip and wand in hot water and then applying the rubber tip. No problem. They break after prolonged use, but they're worth getting the job done and protecting floors! I love them and recommend them to everyone!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not bad but...

No more head injuries from open pipe ends

I know they weren't designed for what I'm using them for. But they worked great. With some soap to grease I was able to slide them onto the ends of the 1/2 EMT tube I made the wooden stand out of. If I bang my head against the end of the pipe now, at least there's no longer a big wound. This is exactly the size I need for this purpose.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Very expensive

I have an auxiliary heater on my car which is usually covered with a crappy 5/8" rubber cap from an auto parts store. They typically last about a year and then break, explode and spill coolant all over the engine compartment. These high temperature silicone caps are designed to protect parts during powder coating so they survive the oven with ease. I thought why not try this for the motor? Damn, they look good! They will inflate a bit under pressure as the material is flimsy but so far it has…

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Retrofittable
