Wonderful! Best in rough installation

EXCELLENT! Better than "Sharkbite" valves which tend not to close fully and allow a little leakage unless you cycle them on and off first. This ensures trouble-free operation and no leaks.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Less than a year of use has flooded my basement

BEWARE! The blown thing blew up and flooded my basement this morning after less than a year of use. I had to take time off from work, drying and fixing things. Look at the photos. Now I don't trust any of these valves and will have to replace them all. Beware. Rated for 400psi? I didn't have more than 100. Less than a week later, another one blew up before I could replace all the others from that pack of ten.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • something else

Unhappy customer

Bought these because I needed 6 or 7 for work. Used one of the leftovers while helping a friend. He called me yesterday and said the valve blew and flooded her laundry. reducing valve on the line. Now I'm worried about others I have installed. The valve has never failed like this in 10 years of operation. Next time I'll just go to the supply house. In the photo above, the valve that actually failed has not been installed for over 6 months.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some bugs

Great price but leaking so unreliable

I wish they would work but unfortunately they are unreliable. For every 1 I use there is 1 leak. It's like the ball doesn't completely cover the hole or something. I would cancel my feedback if the seller can work something out with us. Unfortunately I can't trust them as some of them leak and others broke accidentally. At the same time, who wants to rip them all out and make them new in the basement/cellar. blah.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
