Second set. Initially 4-5 years ago all were brass and made much better. The latest set is thin brass on the outside with a plastic sleeve on the inside. Holds up well like other plastic caps. But not as pretty as solid brass or steel. Probably worth the price regardless of changing materials.

I originally bought a set of these in 2014 and the ONLY reason I'm buying another is because someone stole 1 has. They are hard wearing and if they do tarnish use a little metallic polishing and they will be bright and shiny again. I've tried case covers from several other companies over the years (just curious) and none of them stand the test of time or the elements like these covers. Never buy these hubcaps! I bought them from a local seller, they had them less than a year. I have BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO tires. These caps fused to my valve stems and on my way to work one of them came loose, completely deflating my tire. I was lucky that I had just arrived at work and was not driving on the freeway when this happened.
