Pilot Automotive WH550 16GB B Performance Finish Review

I stock these caps for a few bucks. So this is my base. These caps are incredibly difficult to install. The metal ring also hits the valve stem so I had to bend it back. I also had to trim the rings with bolt cutters to fit my 16" wheels. I would say it took me about 10-15 minutes to install ONE cover. The next few were a little quicker, but not by much. Total more than an hour to put the caps. After all the improvements it became much easier. Looks good on my SUV. Hope they stay for a while.

Looks good but doesn't fit the wheel well. I decided not to leave them on the car because they don't fit the wheel . I have found that the original hubcaps as shown in the picture below have a notch on the ring that goes up and around the valve stem which they do not have. I can't return them because I put my cute Scion badges on them. On the other hand, I have something to hang on the wall in the garage. These covers look pretty cool but the workmanship is lousy and almost impossible to salvage. The first day I put them on, after 1 minute of riding, the cover came off the wheel and rolled down the street. I had to stop and follow him. I decided that I had to zip them up if I wanted to keep the covers. It worked for a while until I bought an apartment and rented it on one of the coldest nights of the year.
