Nice brush tip, small

As expected from a compact pen, it's not the most comfortable, but long enough once hung to be reasonable. I like the amount applied to the brush.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Upgrades

Cute little pen

This pen is very cute! The tip isn't a bristle brush, it's more of a pointed foam tip, a bit like the Tombow Dual Brush Pen. I have a hard time writing with a brush as I'm left-handed, but I think I'll be fine with this pen after a little practice. The blue ink is very bright and flows smoothly.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and chunky

They sent garbage

You sent an old pen instead of a new one. It arrived with the seal already broken and the ink on the top already dried. These pens don't usually do that, the brushes start white where you have to insert the cartridge yourself and let the ink flow into the tip the first time. This is terrible service. I didn't pay for someone else's garbage.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Nice but the brush is too tight

This is a great little pen, but the "brush nib" is a molded foam nib and acts more like an adjustable nib liner than a real brush pen. Still, it's a pleasure to work with and the ink flow is really intuitive, but it's a great traditional art pen. If you are looking for a bristle brush pen, I would try the Pentel Pocket Brush Pen. If Pilot made a true bristle based pen with the quality of ink you find from this little guy I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some bugs
