No reliable weapon, too many traffic jams.

I'm a trained carpenter and furniture maker. I have over 30 nail guns and 30 years of experience. I usually love Senco products and when this gun works it works fine but for me it at least glues all 25 nails. There was a streak at first, but it's becoming more frequent and getting worse. I have a kadex in my order, we will see when it arrives. I ordered this gun based on the reviews, as most of the reviews for this gun were positive, and I gave up the kadex. If you're reading honest reviews…

Pros
  • Ergonomic handle for all-day comfort
Cons
  • Don't know exactly

Senco 21 ga needs LOTS of oil!

5 stars at work. I've used this nailer very little, less than 300 2" nails, and it jammed and broke one of the guides on the shield. The pad was replaced under warranty but when I returned it it hammered a nail and stalled. The pin would not retract to engage the next nail. The repair shop said it worked fine after I returned it, but they used 100psi and I used 85psi. The store called Senco and they were told that every time you plug it in you need to add 8-10 drops of oil - eight to 10 drops…

Pros
  • Automatically adjusts to different fastener lengths
Cons
  • So far so good

Excellent quality nailer. My favorite nailer at the moment.

Very good nailer. I like the 21 gauge nail size. Keep in mind that most big stores don't have nails for this. I ordered them from Revain and also got a box from a contractors tool store. I love that 21 gauge nails leave such a small hole but still have decent holding power. I have just built a house and we chose white stained poplar for all the paneling. Because the nail hole was so small, it only took a small amount of putty to fill it. I also really like the double trigger safety. Sometimes…

Pros
  • Powerful - provides full penetration into hard surfaces
Cons
  • No instructions
