Enhanced Pioneer TS-A878 3.5 Inch 2-Way Speaker System Review

Fits my Toyota Prius and sounds very good. Besides producing more sound at the same volume setting of the main unit, I hear more clarity and punchy mids. If you want to upgrade a speaker in your Toyota, do it it!

High quality speakers for only $35. Small so don't expect a lot of bass but they sound good for their size and don't distort. I use them in the headrests of my '93 Miata. Pops direct instead of crappy stocks. Helps with road noise at highway speeds with the top down. Very pleased.

Bought to replace the front dash speakers on a 2019 Jeep Wrangler and they are worth every penny. Bought polish ones too, they sounded better than the polish ones. Wanted to see if I'd come back. These 3.5" fit the front but not the soundbar on top, the magnet is too thick. But the shelves fit. The tweeter only rubs a little on the plastic grille.

If you have stock speakers in a Ram 1500 or other car and are frustrated with the muddy sound with poor imaging, this is a great replacement. They make a HUGE improvement and sound amazing! Don't expect a powerful bass monster, they deliver balanced, clean mids and clean highs. Be careful when installing as the outer frame is plastic and may crack if you overtighten the screws. That's a great price for good sound. The high sensitivity of these speakers works well with a lower powered head unit.

This was the best money I've spent upgrading my 13 CX5 sport stereo. Adding it to the dashboard changed day and night and made Bluetooth phone calls much more audible. I needed to replace the dash speakers in a 2001 Saab 9-3 and as they were only going to be powered by a Kenwood head unit I didn't feel the need to spend a fortune. In fact, I felt the need to spend as little as possible. I chose them because I have a long and positive history with Pioneer, and Saab, as a GM brand, decided that "specifically fitting GM vehicles" was a good thing.
