I installed it as the terrible instructions said and it didn't do anything. I literally plugged it in and unhooked it and there was no difference in the alternator whistling.

Works well. Make sure the power is coming from the battery and not the ignition. In my case it was red on yellow on the car side and then blue on yellow on the stereo side. Black to black for the earth

Installed a new radio in a 2004 Camry and there was a howling noise coming from the speakers when the volume was low or turned up became off. I installed these filters on the radio's fixed and switched power lines and the problem was solved.

Old car gets new rear view camera and touchscreen audio, I couldn't get rid of the generator noise. Delivery was slow but worked. It shows red blue and black wires. Connect the red and blue wires to my yellow ignition wire on the back of the car radio and the black to ground. If you connect them to the red wire with the constant power red wire, it won't work.

After installing a brand new stereo the sound was perfectly clear until I started the engine. There was a loud noise with the engine running - a howling noise that got louder as the rpm increased as I revved the engine. With this thing mounted behind the stereo head/receiver, the oscillator hiss is gone!
